saturday evening.i wasn’t chasing a sunset, looking for a viewpoint, or waiting for the perfect light. i was simply walking out the door after an ordinary evening.and this was waiting outside.a full rainbow stretching across the sky, just as the rain was moving on and the evening light began to break through.had i stayed inside five minutes longer, taken a different exit, or stopped somewhere along the way, i might have missed it entirely.photography has a way of reminding me that not every memorable moment needs to be planned. sometimes the extraordinary appears right in the middle of the ordinary — in a parking lot, when you’re simply on your way home.you just have to be there when it does. instagram
